All of our technicians have a city and guilds qualification to allow us to diagnose, repair and re-gas air conditioning systems in all vehicles.
Our 'while you wait' service generally only takes around 1 hour to complete.
Different types of air con
R134a is the most common type of air con gas found in vehicles, although the industry is gradually phasing it out as it can be quite harmful to the environment.
That being said, we can still work on these units for you without an issue.
If your car's air con has gradually become less effective, it will generally just require a re-gas, and we offer this service for just £50.
HFO-1234yf is the new type of air con gas that is slowly being introduced into newer vehicles as this gas isn’t as harmful as the older R134a gas. However, it is a lot more expensive.
Here at Power Autos, we are one of only a handful of garages in Tewkesbury that have the capability to carry out service and re-gassing on these newer gas systems.
